Expending spells...[edit]
Of which level? Could you expend a first-level arcane spell slot/prepared spell to trigger this? How about PP for magic-psionic transparency? Does it have to be arcane/divine? Etc. Don't really understand the Healing enhancement thingy, so will have questions for things I do vaguely understand ;-) --Ghostwheel 03:58, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
- I am clarifying things right now. I also am adding psionic to it, as I tend to forget about psionics since I personally don't tend to play a psionic character. Just ask away and I will clarify and try my best to do so on the page as well. -Sarrow 04:04, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
- So this staff is just as powerful (Heal-spell powerful, which is pretty damn good) in the hands of an apprentice as that of a master? Perhaps spending PP/spell level equal to the level of the Heal spell might be a good alternative? --Ghostwheel 04:06, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
- I was thinking that, maybe having you spend a spell slot to heal 10 HP per spell level expended. -Sarrow 04:10, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
- Eh, in my mind, the actual healing is only half, maybe even a third of the spell's power. The real power comes in the form of neutralizing all sorts of "bad" effects on you. But perhaps 20 HP per spell level? That'd put it around the same level as the Heal spell when you first get it, and you could channel stronger spells in to heal even more damage. --Ghostwheel 04:13, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
- OK, I will make it 20 HP per spell level. That makes it powerful at lower levels and still useful at higher levels. It is better than most cure spells. -Sarrow 04:25, 26 July 2009 (MDT)
