Hey just looking at mark target and while I agree with you it was pretty powerful in its previous form might I suggest using the old effect but having it cost more grit points?

-Mr. Sandeman

- I do appreciate the feedback, but I think its current iteration is much better overall. I saw Mark Target as something to be used often and making it cost more would prevent that. In addition, the feature is also a core part of the class' subclasses and it would definitely make those features too powerful--DonMafia (talk) 12:22, 18 May 2021 GMT+8

- Fair but for myself at least the 10 rounds that it lasts since it lasts an entire minute usually is enough for it to last a whole combat as you can just continue switching targets with your bonus action for those 10 rounds, which during the time you might kill something and regain a grit point, also! I'm a little confused about the description in duelist about offhand shooting, seeing as you can't normally use a ranged weapon as an offhand attack unless you have crossbow expert... Or it's a thrown weapon. I'm just confused about it because of the bonus to having a double-action revolver because surely that would make it better to just have two single-actions

Oh right also in the weapons table the pump-action has no reload

While you do make a point about the strategy, I am still uncomfortable with it so again I'll have to take a pass. In regards to the shotgun and duelist parts, looks like I'll have to clarify the both of them. Thank you for that as I didn't see them. --DonMafia (talk) 21:52, 18 May 2021 GMT+8

I can definitely see where you're coming from, from a balance standpoint, but it just seems like something that doesn't stay as useful as you get to higher levels... Maybe you should have it improve to its old effect along with improved grit? Food for thought anyhow I'll be continuing to play this class in two campaigns I'm in and will update you with my experiences

- Mr. Sandeman

A +2 to attack rolls would always be useful in my opinion, even at the higher levels. Sure it may not be as flashy as advantage, but its still increases both your minimum and maximum attack roll, which is pretty good I say, especially if you have Sharpshooter. And wow, this is actually the first time I hear someone play my stuff so that's pretty cool. :D --DonMafia (talk) 08:54, 19 May 2021 GMT+8
