Discussion[edit]

I like this feat but I'm not sure its balance. Adding half your proficiency bonus at level 1 (human) gives a +1 bonus. That's equal to half the perk of a luck stone (the other half is +1 bonus to ability checks) an uncommon item. Then, a conditional, improved version of the orc's trait Relentless Endurance or similar, conditional and improved version of Barbarians level 11 class feature. I don't think a "Brave" effect is an issue, or the ASI, but I think that only one of the two previous perks should be here instead of all four. On a side note, is it possible to rename this feat since Grit is commonly associated with Gunslingers and their grit/grit points? Something like "Unyielding", "Strong Minded", I was going to suggest dauntless but it already exists and is a version of staying alive. Makes me want to suggest dropping the undying part and making it a strength of mind feat. Look forward to hearing back. BigShotFancyMan (talk) 12:26, 1 May 2018 (MDT)

Pending, I've got answers and solutions I swear, just dealing with life stuff atm. Also, gunslingers and grit?--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 11:33, 3 May 2018 (MDT)

as long as I've got your ear, take care of your stuff. I've no idea why gunslingers and grit are a thing? It's a trend I've seen throughout. Some 'slingers don't have grit, but this feat is one of the few times I've seen grit not with a gunslinger. Good luck with everything you are working on. I'll be around. Haven't forgotten, RL has just been super interesting as of late.--Gr7mm Bobb (talk) 13:47, 3 August 2018 (MDT)
