Name Formatting[edit]

I stand by that this page should be formatted as Grenade, Scream (5e Equipment). The DMG formats fragmentation grenades and smoke grenades as Grenade, Fragmentation and Grenade, Smoke, thus setting a precedent on how grenade item names should be formatted, and doing so makes navigating weapon lists considerably easier. Wizards isn't the most consistent when it comes to formatting their multi-word names (greatswords wouldn't be a relevant example in the first place since that's one word, but war picks and light hammers would be), but it seems to primarily apply to ranged weapons like the various crossbows.--Ref3rence (talk) 14:33, 31 March 2024 (MDT)

Sure. Just because the often-inconsistent source material formats text in a specific way, I don't agree this is a mandatory change to homebrew. I also don't value the DPLs' formatting that highly.
There's in my mind no doubt "scream grenade" is more fun to read or say than "grenade, scream."
But your points are valid and I have no desire to die on this hill. Enjoy changing it if you want. - Guy 15:37, 31 March 2024 (MDT)
