From SparkiousX - Enhanced Punches

I don't know how best to put this... but I feel like when the Fist Dealer reaches a high enough level some of the enhanced punches sort of cancel each other out (like Double Fist and Brutal or Crippling, as well as Superman and Shoving). Perhaps there can be "Level 2" enhanced punches that build on to some of the others and start at 11th or 13th level?

Example: Devastating Punches

Your punches now do 2d8 damage instead of 2d6. Must have "Brutal Punches" before getting this ability. Unlocks at 11th level (or 13th if that's better)

Oh, and one more tiny little thing. I took out the critical hit note on "Brutal Punches" because 5e rules automatically have you roll an extra 2d6 on a crit for those anyway.

First off, thanks for the feedback!! I'm glad someone read through the class. Now, about the punches, my intent is that they work like techniques. They are not passive benefits that stack with each other, but different techniques that you choose whenever you throw a punch, but it is my fault for not clarifying this on the text of the feature. Makes sense!? Anastacio (talk) 19:34, 14 July 2022 (MDT)
From Sparky: Ahhhhhhh ok. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the clarification :)
Also you're actually the first class I read through; I'm new to editing this stuff lol. For reference, the first four looked passive and the last two looked active.
Wait... one more thing I just thought of (which might be a wording issue). If the shoving punch deals 1d10+STR damage with a shove... then don't the Superman Punch and Shoving Punch really do the same effects in the end (both 1d10+STR damage and "shove" of some kind on hit)?
My thoughts: Superman would work kind of like an enemy Charge ability: maybe subtract 3 from the hit (cause it's a crazy wild punch) and do base 2d8+STR or 2d10+STR damage on hit as well as the shove. On a miss you're off-balance and enemies get a bonus +3 to hit against you until the start of your next turn. SparkiousX (talk) 23:06, 14 July 2022 (EST)
