That power seems pretty weak; why not just give them Darkvision outright? -- Indigo

Some good reasoning is required for giving a PC race Darkvision. This isn't just nightvision, it's the ability to see in complete darkness. It's justified in Drow, since they come from the underdark. But Felids are cat-themed, and cats don't have this ability. I'd scrap the power altogether and think of something cool instead. Perhaps some conditional bonus to perception.
