Talk:Dragon Deck Mini-Quest Series (5e Quest)
From D&D Wiki
I still have 4 cards to write adventures for: Silver 12, Tiamat, Bahamut, and Fool. I'm concerned about the formatting. It looks a lot better in my source document! I'm wondering if it would make sense to convert the dragon-card section into a huge table. Thoughts, anyone?
I cleaned up a lot of the formatting issues using bullet-point formatting. I'm not thrilled with this, but it works. If there's something better, please let me know. Thanks!
6/19/17 - I figured out what I'm going to do with Bahamut. I haven't added it yet though. Probably later today. That still leaves the other three.
6/20/17 - Added links to monsters (and a couple spells). I'm annoyed the SRD is missing several monsters:
- Death Slaad
- Galeb Duhr
- Peryton
- Marid (genie)
- Banshee
- Thri-Kreen
- A quick search of the 5e SRD document reveals that none of those creatures are present. The Thri-Kreen, Galeb Duhr and Slaad are product identity of WotC, but there have been Banshee, Marid and Peryton released under the OGL (Peryton and Banshee are mythological beings, while the Marid was released into the OGL in the Tome of Horrors with permission of WotC), so someone could hypothetically create a homebrew version of those using the OGL template and then you could link back to them. Interestingly, the Slaad Lords of Entropy and the Insane are released into the OGL (via the Tome of Horrors).
- I'll periodically check. If they show up in the SRD, the links should automatically self-fix - assuming I spelled them right. Otherwise, people will just need to look up the monsters the old-fashioned way ;-) -Sligo

- In a completely unrelated topic, check out of my 3.5e Eye King creature that uses the OGL Eye King template from Green Ronin Publishing atop a generic aberration type creature :)--GamerAim (talk) 09:10, 21 June 2017 (MDT)
- I've never been a fan of beholders (or related variants). Likewise, my setting doesn't have vampires and lycanthropes, and I only use undead sparingly. Call it personal preference. - Sligo

6/21/17 - The last of the cards have been filled in. Links to monsters and spells should be complete, though I can't speak to the broken/dead links. Readers will just have to consult their own copy of the books in these cases. WIP template is removed. Though I've received no real feedback so far, I'm open to discussion and commentary on any and all the content on this page. If you find something that is odd, wrong, or doesn't make sense, please bring it to my attention. If you have thoughts for improvement as well, bring it on! - Sligo
