Talk:Dire Human (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
I don't know about making it interesting but I think it's pretty fleshed out and different from the dire beast, if anything. For one thing, unlike the dire beast template, it doesn't have any natural weapons. I also changed the traits a bit to make it more unique, but they are niche abilities in my opinion. Thus, I think it'd okay if the ASI could be +4.--Yanied (talk) 21:33, 21 January 2019 (MST)
- Yup, this is much better now, though when granting a conditional advantage you need to specify the ability score and check as per the dwarfs Stonecunning trait. The 5c templates first parameter needs to be word from word the condition specified else it links to the conditions page rather than the specific condition, so it should be "grappled" rather than "grapple" and ideally, the wording should be changed to reflect this. Finally, too many conditional traits can be a pain so giving them proficiency in the survival skill, then allowing them to add their proficiency bonus a second time if it is to look for food or water would be flavourful, well footed can be changed to be like Fey Ancestry except against being knocked prone. —ConcealedLight (talk) 07:38, 22 January 2019 (MST)
