Maybe make them metal cards that work like shurikens, it is possible to throw cards in such a way to cause minor injuries, but it's nothing unless you hit someone in the eye. I guess it's one of those disguised weapons. Dunno why it would be two handed, you could easily keep them in your pocket. - Lars

Well you would be holding the deck with one hand and pulling and throwing cards out with the other. Remember one round is 6 seconds so an attack action is about 3 seconds. pulling a card out of your pocket then throwing would be much slower than the way I just described I doubt you could do it effectively in 3 seconds when you have to pull them out of your pocket thus two handed. Well that's the way I see it no idea if thats what the author was thinking. Hawk 21:32, 15 February 2008 (MST)
I can see it being sorta like a light/one hand crossbow, where you can "shoot" but not load with one hand. You can easily pull a single card out of a pocket (so is it a concealed weapon?) and throw it in 3 seconds, but you surely could not throw multiple cards in one turn (as per high BAB) unless you had two hands "wielding" the weapon. Good overall concept, but I agree they'd have to be metal and sharpened, so basically special/masterwork shurikens. ~ M4rcd4rc 12:53, 31 July 2008 (MDT)
