Talk:Deadtime (3.5e Epic Power)
From D&D Wiki
You have an interesting concept, but has it occurred to you that the spellcraft DC is just a tad high? Like, need to have well over a thousand levels to cast to high? It will take a lot of mitigating factors to get that down, so I suggest you change some of your basic assumptions regarding how high this effect really warrants and going on from there. I mean, you basically have a form of temporal stasis, which as you know is hardly an epic spell. Just my suggestions ETMM 23:11, 6 May 2009 (MDT)
- I see your point, but this can affect anything (an object, an undead creature, etc...) and it is extremely hard to undo once enacted. This is because it requires an epic level spell or power that accelerates the one who hopes to undo it with permanent duration (and dismissible) and unless they can find out what happened to the person they hope to free they probably won't even know to do it (temporal acceleration causes the subject to be undetectable). The real reason is more closely related to that I use this site to store information for my Town[1] character and this just happened to be an epic level power I developed. Still, I'll see if I can make a not so high requirement version for more general use (note however that I am a lazy ... given how long it took me to reply to your comment).
