Ritual Healing Spell[edit]
Casting this spell as a ritual requires 10 minutes, consumes 250 gp in sunk costs, and heals an average of 22 to 27 hit points (depending on the casting ability). A life cleric boost that average to at most 32 hit points, assuming a ceiling of 20 Wisdom.
Using five common potions of healing requires 30 seconds, consumes 250 gp in sunk costs, and heals an average of 35 hit points. It requires a tiny bit of storage space maybe, but that's the only downside.
I think this spell would fine with the ritual tag, if casting it as a ritual consumed the 250 gp opal. I'm unsure if OP intended for the opal to be consumed by the spell, but to me it seems like it would be cool. - Guy (talk) 04:13, 30 July 2017 (MDT)
- Not really a ritual-type thing anymore, but that's likely due to an anonymous user coming in and messing with it. I should probably fix that, because now it's very different to the original concept. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 19:24, 20 August 2020 (MDT)
- Fixed. I really can't believe I missed that before, now I'm gonna have to check every page I see to make sure some anon didn't screw with it. --Nuke The Earth (talk) 19:29, 20 August 2020 (MDT)
