Talk:Close Quarter Ranger (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Balancing[edit]
I will not make any changes on the official page, but I have a suggested replacement for this feature that I will list below. If others wish to update it with this or perhaps alter this page in some way I will be more than happy to offer my opinions and suggestions to help!
- Prerequisite: Dexterity 13 or higher
- Having grown accustomed to fighting foes in close quarters with ranged weapons, you gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
- When a creature hits you with a melee attack you may use your reaction to take the disengage action and move half your movement speed away if you only have a ranged weapon equipped in your hand. Alternatively, when a creature misses you with a melee attack you may use your reaction to make a ranged attack against the opponent. You can use this feat a number of times equal to your dexterity modifier(minimum 1), and resets on a long rest.
