I got an idea to make a differences between the Buster Sword and the Giant Sword, should the buster sword be versatile for large creatures using the oversized new rule. That will make it more special, and since it is not based I say it should be like a bastard sword, it almost rhyme. Azernath (talk) 19:03, 17 April 2015 (MDT)

Also, at some point, someone's going to want to make a "fullblade" like the one in 3.5e Arms and Armor. This could be oversized, too. Are we going to end up with three oversized swords? Or could we turn the Giant Sword into the fullblade? Marasmusine (talk) 02:02, 18 April 2015 (MDT)

Well the "Fullblade" is not that different from either the "Buster Sword" or "Giant Sword" it doesn't have anything special, it only have the limitation to medium characters. Azernath (talk) 09:27, 18 April 2015 (MDT)

You guys realize a buster sword is going to weigh more than 5 gallons of milk, right? Grimeagle4 (talk) 17:00, 1 June 2016 (MDT)

On the one hand, the greatsword in the PHB only weighs six pounds. On the other, according to Google, the Sword canonically (?) weighs 80. On a third hand, [Buster Sword Guy]'s Buster Sword apparently weighs 46. So... round it up to 50? And maybe up the cost a bit as well, since the greatsword itself costs 50gp?
