Talk:Brigandine, Variant (3.5e Equipment)
From D&D Wiki
Point of Note[edit]
This is not so much a criticism as a related point. The statistics for Lamellar and Brigandine can be found in the Oriental Adventures supplememt.--Fathirian Hound 03:51, 31 March 2009 (MDT)
- Well, if it is the version from Oriental Adventures, that would be extraordinarily bad (actually, it would mean that since Oriental Adventures isn't Open Game Content, we'd have to delete this page or modify it enough from the original so that it qualifies as homebrew). Could someone check the book out and compare the two? That would be most excellent. --Ganteka 08:37, 31 March 2009 (MDT)
- I don't know if they're the same as my house is a mess and the book is probably somewhere in the attic, but I'm reasonably sure Brigandine is a +4 medium armour and Lamellar a +5 medium armour. I was more meaning that if the creator wanted an 'official' set of stats they could look it up.--Fathirian Hound 02:44, 1 April 2009 (MDT)
- Looked them up as they're in the Arms & Equipment Guide as well. Brigandine is +4 Medium armour with a +2 Dex bonus, and Lamellar is a +5 Medium armour with +3 Dex bonus. So it's all good.--Fathirian Hound 02:15, 3 April 2009 (MDT)
- I believe this should be labeled as a variant, then. -Valentine the Rogue 02:20, 3 April 2009 (MDT)
- Can someone label them as a variant then in the title? I'm not quite sure how to do that. (Still new) I didn't know they were listed already, I just got the idea to add them when me and my friend were looking through wikipedia's pages on medieval armor. Wyrm 21:21, 7 April 2009 (MDT)
- Done, though for future reference, you can move pages by selecting the "Move" tab at the top of the article, next to the "Edit" and "History" tabs. -Valentine the Rogue 21:26, 7 April 2009 (MDT)
Stats[edit]
This is better than the Chain Shirt in every way. Did you intend that? Surgo 09:07, 3 April 2009 (MDT)
- No I did not, I will edit it then. My mistake, again... Heh. Wyrm 21:22, 7 April 2009 (MDT)
