Talk:Bahamut's Shield (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
The wiki does not allow for unbalanced things to remain unbalanced. There is no reason to wait for your permission. If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here. That is stated below the edit summary box. --Lavie (talk) 07:17, 29 October 2021 (MDT)
Agreement[edit]
Can we please agree that you stop changing the feat I created over and over again even though I have clearly shown that I do not want this change? You don't want your ideas to be modified so that you don't like them yourself anymore --ShieldingPaladin7 (talk) 21:06, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
I made them balanced. Whether you created something is irrelevant on this wiki. Anyone can edit them to ensure they are balanced and worded properly. If you do not want them edited, put them on your user page, removing the breadcrumbs and categories.--Lavie (talk) 13:10, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
Im new on this side so i dont know bevore that i can do this, but it allready was balanced, for me and for some more guys to search by the feats and you will find much stronger, just agree so i get my permissions and i will put them on my user page. --ShieldingPaladin7 (talk) 21:36, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
It wasn't. Being able to add a modifier on top of heavy armor was ridiculously imbalanced. You can use the history tab, click the version you want to put on your user page, then copy and paste it onto your user page. Also, don't bother with the other homebrew is bad argument because it means nothing. --Lavie (talk) 13:44, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
It was unbalanced for YOU but not for me i just want the permissions back for eddit the feat I CREATET then i can move it too, if not i just creat the original feat under a other name again and no one of us will be happy. --ShieldingPaladin7 (talk) 21:52, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
It was imbalanced in general compared to first party content. There's a thing called bounded accuracy that you should read up on. Just because it's balanced for your table doesn't mean it's balanced for every table. Using the line of 'If you don't like it, don't use it' doesn't work on this wiki because the goal is to have content balanced against first party content. Adding any modifier while wearing heavy armor is unbalanced. Could easily have 26 AC with plate armor, a shield, armor of Bahamut feat, defense fighting style, and 20 Charisma. If you make a new page with the feat outside a user page, then it will be deleted for redundancy. --Lavie (talk) 14:06, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
1. AC of 26 isnt that much you think you ez can reach it loong bevore 2. the line i only added becouse you changed the page like 20 times 3. WHat should i do? i losed the permission for eddit the thinks i created the other option is you just agree. --ShieldingPaladin7 (talk) 22:13, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
I'm not agreeing. I have already told you what you could do if you want to have your version. Also, this should be on the feat's talk page. --Lavie (talk) 14:17, 30 October 2021 (MDT)
