"For the duration, any creature that comes into contact with you..." It sounded like this would happen every time there's any contact between the caster and another creature within the duration of the spell. Something with multiattack that uses natural attacks or unarmed strikes would be subjected to a minimum of 1d8 damage two or three times on each of its turns, which is quite a lot even for a situational 1st level spell. Simultaneously, the caster would be seemingly able to make unarmed strikes that inflict the regular damage for them plus this 1d8 or 2d8 acid damage. That doesn't seem like that much until you consider things like lizardfolk or multiclassing monks. I assume this might have been something the original contributor didn't consider, and tried to tweak it to more closely resemble what I assume they envisioned. Feel free to correct me if my assumptions were wrong, of course. — Guy (talk | edits) 10:42, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
