Musicus Meter
Score: 4
This race has a score of 4 according to the Musicus Meter race guidelines. With this metric, first-party races' scores range from 4.5 to 8. This is a guideline, not a rule, and it's important to use your own judgment alongside this scoring.
This scoring may be the groundwork for a focused {{needsbalance}} usage. A contributor to this page may request a detailed breakdown of this page's balance. Without this information, {{needsbalance}} may then be removed. This meter cannot be the sole basis for a needsbalance template, but may be included as an accessory to a wider discussion of a race's balance.
This template should only be placed on a race's talk page. If this template is not placed on the talk page, please move it.

This one was rather fun to make despite the fact there's not much here. The biggest thing is Master of Scent. Prestidigitation allows the user to create sensory effects like odors. I couldn't really find anything scent-like for 1st level spells, but I went with Fog Cloud because I imagined aromatisse spraying a scent-less perfume cloud. One of Nathair's Mischief's effects is that it causes a 20 foot cube to be filled with the scent of apple pie. The age section is based on two different things: the maturity rate is based on how long perfumes last for (3-5 years) and, given how Aromatisse has owl-like traits, the 40 years is based on the lifespan of the Great Grey Owl. The reason the Great Grey Owl was chosen is because it's height range is on par with aromatisse itself.

Given how low on the Musicus Meter it is, maybe I should have added more like some skill or tool proficiency. I might add some more things later, but we'll see. --MetalShadowOverlord (talk) 03:43, 29 March 2023 (MDT)

I added an extra little bit on smelling to the race. Not sure how accurate or applicable it really is but it's something.--Yanied (talk) 15:37, 31 December 2023 (MST)
