if any one can figure out how to make the "prerequisite" wording better, id appreciate the hell out of it. If anyone was wondering, this is meant as a variant to Weapon Master SRD.

Balance[edit]

For the record, I think AngelicBahamut's silent edit was warranted, though there should have at least been an edit summary. Consider that both "you gain proficiency in weapons" and "you gain proficiency in armor" feats each offers only that benefit plus a +1 to Str or Dex. This feat effectively offered "you gain proficiency in weapons, shields, armor, AND +1 to Str or Dex." I'm personally still a little iffy on it since it offers all of a ranger's useful proficiencies in a single feat plus two tool proficiencies. (Consider that a wizard or sorcerer couldn't otherwise gain shield proficiency without either taking two feats, or dipping a level in another class.) Even so, one could reasonably argue that it's now balanced enough as it no longer grants +1 to an ability score. - Guy (talk) 13:23, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Naming, and an alternate Quartermaster feat[edit]

This seems to be more of an Apprentice Armorer or Smith's Apprentice rather than a Quartermaster. Thoughts?

I think a Quartermaster feat that reduces ration consumption (a very minor ability, I know) or lets you produce undocumented items ("Hey, guys, I actually DID bring extra rope!"), buying them retroactively because of "careful planning" would be really fun to have. --Carcabob (talk) 18:56, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
