Supplemental Variant Rule[edit]

EldritchNumen, would you mind clarifying your decision to make this a Supplemental Variant Rule? --Green Dragon 10:37, 10 April 2007 (MDT)

My initial thought was that this was a module that added complexity to the Attack/AC dynamic that was already in place, but I'm not sure that is exactly right. The fact that this changes the amount of damage dealt actually should probably make it a transformational rule, since that changes gameplay in very important ways (because it makes armor MUCH better, and downplays the abilities of lightly armored classes, like the monk, rogue, ranger, and barbarian in favor of the paladin, fighter, etc.). I'll change it to transformational, but am open to someone making a case for supplementary. Right now, though, I'm reversing my initial opinion and voting for transformational. —EldritchNumen 14:27, 10 April 2007 (MDT)
Sounds good. --Green Dragon 16:53, 10 April 2007 (MDT)
