Questions[edit]
- +4 Charisma, -2 Constitution
- Small
- Rabbit’s Foot (Ex)
- Languarges:Celestial(Why?)
The + 4 cha, and a favored class of Bard, not to mention the bonus feat, i think you need a LA there. A good read before making one of these is p.214-217 of Savage Species, as it deals extensively with anthropomorphic characters. Most animals start with a -4 cha, so an anthopomorphic creature with a 0 mod on cha is actually receiving a +4, a critter with a +4 is getting +8, which is excessive. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ganre (talk • contribs) . - I agree. +4 charisma is excessive without a LA. I would make it +2. Though I should mention that from what I have seen about the ani-men, they come with their own feats and are extremely different from anthropomorphic races. I would consider them more like rabbit traited humans rather than human traited rabbits if that makes sense. Rabbit's Foot is fine with a +2 cha. Think of it like a Strongheart halfling (bonus feat and is small). I would give them a bonus to jump checks as well. --Aarnott 17:27, 23 April 2008 (MDT)
- I did not realize these were based off something that already exists, do you have a rules reference to other ani-men? Ganre 16:54, 25 April 2008 (MDT)
- Hey, guys. I'm afraid I know nothing of Savage Species, and I have no intention of buying any more D&D books until 4th edition. However, I did knock down the Cha bonus to +2, and I forgot that rabbit-men could go 30', so I knocked it down to 20'.
- And yes, Aarnot, these are humans with rabbit traits, not rabbits with human traits. In the end, they're still more or less human, but with some differences. If you're wondering, my ani-men are based off mythology and superstition about animals, then combining them into humans. This was the result. The ani-men entry elaborates a little.
- Bear in mind, too, that there are only 20 Luck feats to choose from for the rabbit-man, whereas a human gets hundreds of choices.
- Thank you for the feedback.

- It looks balanced to me now, good job. --Ganre 16:11, 27 April 2008 (MDT)
Clever![edit]
I assume "Cunning Linguist" was an intentional pun for the Rabbit-Man? If you want to be even more blunt, throw in "Master Debater: +2 bluff and diplomacy checks". --Aarnott 17:23, 23 April 2008 (MDT)
- It's an idea, though the serpent-man already gets bonuses to Bluff and Intimidate. I'd rather not call it Master Debater, though, because the name is a boon for dirty minds, though I do like the Austin Powers reference. Thanks a bunch for the feedback.

20 ft movement & no jump[edit]
Really? Not at 40? Not at least 30 with a bonus feat of "run"? What happened to "quick as a bunny?"
And no racial bonus to jump? Not even a +2?
Is this a rotund but charismatic bunny waddling around or something? Is he inherently clumsy?
- They're as "waddling" and "clumsy" as any other small humanoid. Marasmusine (talk) 05:27, 10 August 2013 (MDT)
