Feels Incomplete[edit]
The lack of an origin makes this feel very generic. While this is good in that it can be used in a variety of settings, an example origin might help it feel more anchored. Since this is a race that uses the body of another, something like the Wight (5e Race) or Revenant (5e Race) could be examples to use.--Yanied (talk) 20:34, 24 February 2021 (MST)
I enjoy this concept but it kept tickling my mind until I realized what it sounded like. It sounds like the Books of Umber, Happenstance Found. The shining eyes and just not quite right for this world, it's very similar.
