Quick Question[edit]

Hey, Ganteka, could you tell me if there's any kind of restriction on what kind of alterations you can make? Cause I have a couple of ideas for some, but I don't want to make any that harm the theme of the class. → Rith (talk) 22:02, 5 December 2008 (MST)

Well, I'm not finished loading up all the one's I've got yet. Should be like 20 more or so, I lost count (mostly ones for save bonuses, fast healing and damage reduction and a few other random resistances). Anyways, yeah, the basic theme really is to start with a minor ability/special power/whatever and expand on it with advanced versions. Really, it could probably be anything that found in the transmutation school. Since the Alterations are kinda like a cross between a feat and getting a spell cast on you, the limitations are pretty open. If you wanna share the idea, just type it up here, unless you want to make it yourself. Mostly the Grim class is about channeling divine energy, killing undead, transforming into a glowing whatever and zapping things with touch attacks. --Ganteka 22:41, 5 December 2008 (MST)
Very interesting, well, the idea's that I've had include adding elemental damage to the natural attack gained from bestial body or making it so that the Grim becomes a size larger whenever they transform, I have other idea's too, and I don't mind making them myself, it would actually be quite interesting to contribute to this class (I'm actually thinking of playing one next campaign I'm a PC in) → Rith (talk) 23:51, 5 December 2008 (MST)
Yeah, I don't have anything like that worked up, so if you really want to do it, go for it. I'll probably do some minor formatting on them just to keep them in line with what I've got going on so far, or not, I may even go back and change the stuff I have now. I'll try and finish up what I've got left to do over the next day (finish adding the rest of the alterations and the few feats I'm got for the various class abilities that don't work as alterations). Also, how come you never stop by the [[Special:TheTavern|The Tavern]] and chat with any of us? In addition, any other opinions on anything would be helpful.--Ganteka 00:58, 6 December 2008 (MST)
Well I've got dial-up, and the one time I tried to get on [[Special:TheTavern|The Tavern]] my computer just didn't want to load it, so I'm kind of wary of using it. I'll probably add a new alteration later today after I deal with the PrC I've been working (the Mystic (yay!)). → Rith (talk) 18:13, 6 December 2008 (MST)
