Range: | 120 feet |
Components: | V |
Duration: | Concentration, Up to 1 minute |
The caster inflates the ego of a creature, reducing the Intelligence modifier of the target by 6 to a minimum of 3. Every time the target makes a saving throw, they additionally make an Intelligence saving throw with the same DC. If the initial saving throw is an Intelligence save, instead they make the saving throw once at disadvantage with no additional effects (other than the reduction in base Intelligence). If they fail the Intelligence saving throw, they cannot gain any benefit from modifiers or spells to increase the roll. Any negative modifiers, spells, or effects that decrease the roll still take effect. The target can make an Intelligence saving throw (ignoring the effects of the spell) at the end of their turn after one turn of being affected to end the effects. If the caster would lose concentration on the spell, the target makes an additional Intelligence saving throw, causing the spell to continue for the remainder of the duration on a fail.
