Brave. The trooper has advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

Compliant. The trooper has disadvantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Poor Aim. The trooper has disadvantage on ranged attack rolls.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The trooper makes two attacks with its laser rifle.

Laser Rifle. Ranged Weapon Attack: +4 to hit (with disadvantage), range 100/300 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (3d8 + 2) radiant damage.

Stun Baton. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) lightning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of its next turn.

Stun Setting. The trooper fires a stun bolt at a creature it can see within 30 feet of it. The target must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be knocked prone and stunned for 1 minute. A stunned creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.


The white-shelled shock troopers of a massive galactic empire. They are the tip of their emperor's laser spear, the iron fist of his rule, and his boot that stops down upon rebel scum. They are also infamous for their terrible aim.

Variant: They Fly Now

Some stormtroopers are issued jetpacks to further enhance their mobility and enable aerial deployment. The stormtrooper gains a flying speed of 60 feet and its CR increases to 1 (200 XP).
