A storm rages within you soul allowing you to bend the element of thunder to your very will.
- Weather the Storm
Starting at level 1 you gain proficiency in light armor, simple and martial weapons, in addition your elemental ancestry grants you the following spells. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.
Sorcerer Level | Spell |
---|---|
1st | booming blade, thunderous smite, witch bolt |
3rd | blur, pass without trace |
5th | call lightning, elemental weapon (lightning, or thunder only) |
7th | elemental bane (lightning, or thunder only), storm sphere |
9th | destructive wave, steel wind strike |
- Tempest Might
As a bonus action you can invoke your elemental ancestry to aid your marital prowess for one minute if you aren't wearing medium heavy armor or a shield you gain the following benefits.
- When you activate this effect you gain temporary hit points equal to your sorcerer level
- Your speed is increased by 5ft
- You gain a bonus to your armor class equal to your Charisma modifier
- When you hit a creature with a melee attack they take an additional 1d4 lightning damage
This effect ends early if you’re incapacitated, don medium, heavy armor, a shield or dismiss this effect (no action required) You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
- It Strikes Twice
Beginning at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action on your turn.
- Heart of Lightning
Starting at 14th level, the additional damage from your Tempest Might feature is increased to 2d6, in addition you gain resistance to thunder and lightning damage
- Perfect Storm
At 18th level, you gain immunity to lightning and thunder damage. In addition while under the effect of Tempest Might, any spell or effect you create ignores resistance to Lightning damage and treats immunity to Lightning damage as resistance to Lightning damage.
