Stake Driver

Martial Melee Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Stake Driver 35 gp 1d6 slashing or bludgeoning 6 lb. Finesse, Trick (2d8)

The weapon has two modes, loaded and unloaded, which can be switched as a bonus action. Unloaded mode does slashing damage, loaded mode does piercing damage. In loaded mode you can spend an Attack action to charge the weapon to deal 2d8 piercing damage on the next attack. This counts as 1 attack for the Extra Attack feat, and if you don't have that feat, the weapon will do 2d8 on your next attack regardless.
