Staff Master

you have mastered the nuances of fighting with a staff.

  • Increase your Strength or Dexterity score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • The quarterstaff now counts as a finesse weapon for you.
  • When you use a quarterstaff it deals 1d8 damage, 1d10 if you're using it two-handed.
  • While wielding a quarterstaff, you can use a bonus action to give yourself advantage in your next Dexterity (Acrobatics) or Strength (Athletics) check related to climbing, jumping or otherwise bypassing obstacles. This benefit lasts until the end of your turn
