Spolus[edit]

Alignment. chaotic,good
Domains. earth
Divine Rank. Greater Deity

  • spolus is a powerful god of the underground. he is the god of caves, rocks, metals and precious stone. the needlbacks worship him in there magic as well as there daily lives. not only do needleback spike sorcerer (5e creature) and miners but also children, housewives, teachers, bakers and all needlbacks because they live under ground.
  • spolus lives at the core of underdark along with all the other needleback gods in a (not so creatively named) palace called needle-core
  • spolus looks like a well carved statue of a human carved out of a little bit of every existing (known or unknown) stone, metal and gem.
  • spolus is the second most important god. second to netrous god of blades and needles.
  • although he is worshiped by all he is especially worshiped by miners for good finds and safe caves and by spike sorcerers. even though it sounds as if they worship netrous they don't. spike sorcerers Chanel the earth trough their needles and then let it out in quick viscous bursts. spolus is worshiped mostly in the form of offerings of precious stones and metals.
  • spolus makes an appearance in "rise of the needlebacks"
  • spolus is not greedy but he keeps an eye on his stuff. the only thing of his to ever be stolen is a pickax. the pickax is called stone shatterer and can break even the hardest of rock with but a touch. when spolus found out that it was stolen he put a curse on it. the curse is that the user will become obssesed with mining and gold, every time he/she tries to take a long rest they go mining instead, the curse stays until the pickax is buried for the next person to find or the person dies of exhaustion. the pickax is immortal and the curse can't be removed in any way except for returning it to spolus personally. there are no spells specific to Spolus but he is a deity that is worshiped by a clerics and warlocks
