A wandering wizard, Spinning Sky was not the first choice for leading the catfolk tribes. The last person who led the tribes, Losing Battle, was chosen over Spinning Sky, causing him to wander the desert in anger. The lessons he learned in the waste nearly cost him his life, and they forced him to become tougher, stronger and faster.

Spinning Sky returned to his people in the wake of his rival's death to help them understand the role of Kuvaroi. He is doing his best to keep the peace, but many in the tribe feel he has lived in the desert too long... his mind is like that of a scorpion. As the old ones say, to stand with a scorpion is to be stung by a scorpion.
