Magic in the world[edit]
It is extremely uncommon for humans or humanoid races to use sorcery or magic but there are a few groups and societies that train in magic it is more common to find draconic races that know any arcane studies. there aren't really any wizards that are referred to as sorcerers and are born with the innate ability to detect magic or harness it.
All Arcane Users Are called Scorcers even if they learned through books and scrolls, if you have the innate ability to cast spells the only difference is that you head a start and may find it easier to learn new spells or anything
Magic will typically be referred to as arcane and spells have different categories, such as sorceries, incantations or miracles, and pyromancy. They may seem self-explanatory but sorceries count as all spells that are not miracles or pyromancy which miracles are all healing-based spells and pyromancy are any spells that can cast or deal with fire.
Most magical items were made in the golden era when nearly everyone could cast magic, and arcane studies were a common practice. Most magical items were lost and destroyed but the ones left are now kept in the forbidden library or tower of the cosmos.
Potions don't really exist in this world just natural medicine and herbs and basically things that could exist in medieval times
