Spellcasting Affinity

Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell
You have become adept at casting particular spells, so they take on additional effects. When you gain this feat, choose one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, radiant, or thunder. You can select this feat multiple times. Each time you do so, you must choose a different damage type.

When you damage a target with the chosen damage type using a spell of 1st level or higher, an additional effect applies:

Damage Type Additional Effect
Acid The target takes a -2 penalty to its AC until the start of your next turn.
Cold The target's speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Fire The target is set ablaze and takes 1d6 fire damage.
Force The target is pushed back up to 5 feet.
Lightning The target can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.
Necrotic The target takes 1d4 necrotic damage and can't regain hit points until the end of your next turn.
Poison The target is poisoned until the start of your next turn.
Radiant The target is blinded until the start of your next turn.
Thunder The target is deafened until the start of your next turn.
