Spectrum Flute

Spectrum Flute: Spectrum Flute is a bit of a misnomer for it is not an actual musical instrument. A Bardic Knowledge roll DC 22 will reveal that this is actually a one-handed weapon disguised as a flute. Bands of colors along the length of the flute which align with the holes signify what type of spell will be cast. The item is activated by pressing the flute to the user's lips and blowing. Depending on what holes are covered/uncovered will determine the outcome.

The user's point of view, the first hole has a green band signifying an acid attack. If all the other holes are covered up but this one, the Acid Splash spell is released.

The second hole has a light blue band signifying a cold attack. If all the other holes are covered up but this one, the Touch of Frost (3.5e Spell) spell is released.

The third hole has a white band signifying an electricity attack. If all the other holes are covered up but this one, the Electric Spark (3.5e Spell) spell is released.

The fourth hole has a red band signifying a fire attack. If all the other holes are covered up but this one, the Lava Tear (3.5e Spell) spell is released.

The fifth hole has a gray band signifying a sonic attack. If all the other holes are covered up but this one, the Sonic Marble (3.5e Spell) spell is released.

If all holes are covered when activated, the Magic Orb (3.5e Spell) spell is released.

The maximum range is only 25 feet and each use requires a ranged touch attack.
