- Attack. The first attack you make with a spear in each turn is made at Advantage.
- Defense. While wielding a spear, as a reaction when a creature within 5 feet makes an attack against you, you can impose disadvantage to that attack.
- Speed. You have advantage on attack rolls. In addition, when you attack a creature with a spear, that creature can't make opportunity attacks against you until the start of your next turn.
- Advanced Spear Secret
At 7th level, you gain a magical benefit based on spear secret of your choice. You can choose the same secret you selected previously or a different one.

- Defense. When a creature hits you with an attack while you wield a spear, all subsequent attacks made by that creature against you have disadvantage for the rest of the turn.
- Speed. You can Dash or Disengage as a bonus action.
- Ability Score Improvement
At 10th level, you can increase one of your ability scores by 2, up to a maximum of 20. You can also choose to raise two ability scores by 1, up to the same maximum.
If your campaign use feats as a variant rule, you can choose a feat instead.
- Superior Spear Secret
At 15th level, you gain a magical benefit based on spear secret of your choice. You can choose the same secret you selected previously or a different one.
- Attack. When you miss an attack, you can use a reaction to reroll that attack against the same or against a different creature within reach.
- Defense. When an attacker that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to halve the attack’s damage against you.
- Speed. When you move, you don't provoke opportunity attacks while wielding a spear. In addition, when you take the Dodge action, you can make an attack with a spear as a bonus action.
- Provoke Bleeding
At 18th level, your wounds with spears are hemorrhagic. When you hit a creature with a spearman weapon, that target gains 1 bleeding point.
A creature loses 1 hit point at the start of its turn for each bleeding point it has. Whenever a creature loses hit points due to bleeding, the amount of bleeding points that creature has is reduced by the creature's Constitution modifier (to a minimum of 0).
When a creature regain hit points, it loses bleeding points equal to the amount of hit points regained.
