Sonic Ki

Prerequisites: Wisdom 13 or Higher
You have attuned yourself with the vibrational pulse of the universe and have come away with rudimentary ki abilities in that field. You gain the following benefits:

  • Your ki point maximum increases by 1. If you have no levels in monk, your ki points will recharge whenever you complete a short or long rest.
  • You may cast the cantrip Thunderclap. You may expend 1 ki point to give all enemies hit by it disadvantage on the Constitution saving throw.
  • You may expend 1 ki point to cast the spell Thunderwave. You may expend 1 additional ki point to give all enemies hit by it disadvantage on the Constitution saving throw.
  • You may expend 1 ki point to cast the spell Thunderous Smite. You may expend 1 additional ki point to give the enemy hit by it disadvantage on the Strength saving throw.
  • All spells use Wisdom as your spellcasting ability.

In addition, you may manifest your mastery over sound in more minor ways:

  • When you would be knocked away or down, you may choose to stay where you are by taking additional damage. Take 1d4 Thunder damage for every 5ft you would have been moved. When knocked prone, take 1d12 Thunder damage to stay standing.
  • Once per long rest, you may use the Message cantrip without needing any materials.
  • Once per long rest, gain advantage on a Perception skill check related to your hearing.
