Cursed Energy. The Smallpox Deity has 117 cursed energy that it can spend to fuel its abilities. All of its cursed energy is replenished at the end of a long rest.

Improved Cursed Energy Recovery. The Smallpox Deity regains 4 cursed energy at the beginning of its turns.

Invisible Force. The Smallpox Deity is entirely made out of cursed energy, meaning it cannot be seen by normal people. Creatures without levels in the Jujutsu Sorcerer class or who cannot see into the ethereal plane cannot see it. Although, if these creatures were in a life and death situation(less than half their maximum hit points), they gain the ability to see it.

Born From Disease. When the Smallpox Deity tries to inflict the poisoned condition on a creature, they roll their saving throw with disadvantage.

Walking Plague. When the Smallpox Deity touches a living creature, they must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 17). On a failure, they will be infected with smallpox. Also, whenever the Smallpox Deity deals poison damage or forces a creature to make a saving throw against the poisoned condition, it overcomes any resistances and immunities, unless the creature is also immune to diseases.

Smallpox. When a creature is afflicted with smallpox it will take 13 (3d8) Poison damage at the beginning of its turns. The creature may make a DC 10 Medicine check as an action to remove this condition.

Trapper. When the Smallpox Deity makes a concentration save to keep a creature trapped within its coffin, it makes this save with advantage.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The Smallpox Deity makes 3 attacks, two with its claws and one with its bite.

Claws. Melee Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 7) slashing and 3 (1d6) Poison damage.

Bite. Melee Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (3d10 + 7) piercing damage. Target must make a Strength saving throw (DC 19). On a failure, they are grappled by the Smallpox Deity and it cannot bite another creature other than the grappled creature.

Coffin (2 Cursed Energy). The Smallpox Deity attempts to trap a creature within sight in a coffin, summoning it behind them. The creature must succeed a Dexterity saving throw (DC 21). On a failure, the creature is restrained until they escape the coffin, and have total cover. On a success, nothing happens, and the coffin crumbles. The coffin has 72 Hit Points and an AC of 14. No more than one creature can be trapped within a coffin, and keeping a creature trapped within a coffin requires concentration. The Smallpox Deity may release a creature from a coffin with no action required. If a trapped creature does not escape within one round and the Curse used Coffin while within its domain, it may then use Grave.

Domain Expansion (0+ Cursed Energy). The Smallpox Deity opens its Domain Expansion. Every time the Smallpox Deity opens its Domain Expansion, its cost increases by 10 cursed energy to a maximum of 30. This cost returns to 0 after a long rest.

BONUS ACTIONS

Advanced Regeneration. The curse can spend any amount of Cursed Energy, regaining hit points equal to 15 times the amount spent.

Grave (5 Cursed Energy). While within its domain, the curse can crush a creature trapped in a coffin using a large boulder under the right circumstances. The creature takes 22 (4d10) bludgeoning damage. To escape, they must break the boulder as well, with the boulder and coffin now counting as one for the purpose of targeting. Its collective Hit Points are equal to 144. The boulder’s AC is 21. If this creature does not escape within one round, the curse begins to Countdown.

Countdown (5 Cursed Energy). While within its domain and under the right circumstances, the creature trapped in the Grave must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure it takes 110 (20d10) poison damage and is inflicted with smallpox. On a success it takes the full damage, but is not inflicted with disease. If a creature is immune to disease or poison, it instead takes half as much damage. Constructs are not affected.

REACTIONS

Advanced Regeneration. As a Reaction to suffering damage, the curse uses its Advanced Regeneration.

Coffin. As a Reaction to being targeted by an unarmed, melee or cursed energy attack roll, the Curse targets the creature attacking it with Coffin.

The Smallpox Deity is a cursed spirit relative to the size of an elephant. The upper portion of the curse is covered in light-colored hair that makes up most of its face and back. Its mouth has two large tusks as well as sharp teeth. The Smallpox Deity has a tail on the other end of the hair that features dark triangular designs. The tail is connected to a sphere that makes up the disease curse's lower body while it levitates. The Smallpox Deity also has two muscular arms covered in pox bumps.

Domain Expansion: Tombstone of Plague

When the Smallpox Deity opens its domain, every creature of its choice within a 40 ft. radius is trapped within. The domain reflects a graveyard in a forest dimly illuminated by a moon. The gravestones across the yard may provide half-cover. While within its domain, the Smallpox Deity has unlocked the full deadly potential of its technique.

While within the domain, the curse gains access to Coffin, Grave, and Countdown as part of its sure hit effect. If the creature the curse is targeting uses Simple Domain or Hollow Wicker Basket, the amount of time they have left to escape is halted, and only resumed once they stop using it.
