Skullhunter of Khurg[edit]

You passed test. Good. Now you can become STRONG...
—Khurg Granngh, Outsider and Founder of the Skullhunters, At the end of the testing of a new initiate.

The Skullhunters of Khurg have focused on the art of Rage. Thus, high level Barbarians are the only ones able to pass the Test of Khurg. Khurg is a being who has become incredibly well-known, and resides in a tower made of bone in Limbo. Finding this tower in the swirling void will not be easy-- indeed, it would be impossible if you were not called to by Kurgh himself. Upon entering, you immediately are reduced to 0 Hp if you are not of a Chaotic alignment.. Khurg then approaches you. If you can land three blows on him, he will teach you. The only way to do this is to fly into a rage, and you will only do damage if you have more then twenty strength. If not, well, you die. Hey, no one ever said it would be EASY.

Combat: Skullhunters of Khurg focius on flying into a rage as soon as possible, and then promptly killing everything within their reach. It's simplicity and its effectiveness are both staggering.

Skullhunters of Khurg in the World[edit]

Nobody like us. Is okay. We just kill things.

In an adventuring party, the Skullhunters of Khurgwould be the main fighting force, and would be respected, if not liked, by all members.

NPC Reactions: Since the individuals pusuing this path are obviuosly dangerous, the reactions of the outside world involves a lot of screaming. Lots and lots of screaming.

Skullhunters of Khurgh in the Game[edit]

The Skullhunters of Khurgh are a very one-dimensional class, and this lack of versatility gives them strength. They fight. Not much else.

Adaptation: If your friendly neighborhood Barbarian finds his way into limbo, this might be an interesting option to present to him.

Sample Encounter: Grux is a half-ork trained in the ways of the Skullhunters of Khurgh. He is feared by all, and stalks the mountains, looking for a fight.
