Beast of Burden. A Skitter can carry twice its normal carrying capacity without being encumbered.

Spiked Back. Creatures that attack a Skitter in melee with natural or unarmed strikes take 3 (1d6) piercing damage.

Elemental Core (Dormant). Though not yet active in spellcasting, the Skitter has an Earth-aligned mana core that empowers its stamina. It regains 1 MP per hour during rest.

Actions

Claw Slash. Melee Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Tail Whip. Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 10 ft, one target. Hit: 7 (1d10 + 2) bludgeoning damage.

Steady Stance (1 MP). Until the start of its next turn, the Skitter has advantage on Strength and Constitution saving throws and cannot be knocked prone.

Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter.
