Skirmisher (Berserk Supplement)

Medium humanoid (any race), any alignment
Armor Class 14 (hide armor)
Saving Throws Str +3, Dex +2
Pack Tactics. The skirmisher has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the skirmisher's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
Skirmisher. The skirmisher can take the disengage action as a bonus action.
handaxe. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) slashing damage.
light hammer. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 1) slashing damage.
Skirmishers are disposable frontline troops; poorly trained, with poor quality weapons and the cheapest armor available, often mounted on the worst horses possible. Their primary purpose is to tire the opposing force before sending in more skilled troops to mop up. The rare skirmishers that survive their first few battles often find climbing ranks to be easy.
