Broom Icon.svg.png This page needs grammatical help. Reason: Third bullet is unclear, and seems to restate second bullet

Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Why would I take a feat that lets me go through an elaborate silvering process to get a +1 AC and (what I think is supposed to be) a +1 or +2 damage bonus against certain creatures with certain equipment... when I could just take a +2 ASI in Dexterity and get an unconditional +1 AC, +1 damage, +1 to-hit, and +1 to a lot of other things

Silversmith

Prerequisites: Proficiency with Smith’s Tools
Faced with a number of enemies resistant to strikes made with weapons of steel and bronze, you’ve learned to silver your own weapons to make them effective against such wily foes.

  • During a short rest, you can silver any weapon or 10 ammunition using Smith’s Tools and 1lb of Silver. Two-Handed weapons require 2lbs of Silver. The pound of silver is consumed by the process. If interrupted during the rest, the weapon is useless until the work is completed.
  • You may also silver any shield by the same process. A silvered shield offers an additional +1 AC when the wielder is attacked by a Fey, Fiend, or Undead creature.
  • While wielding a silvered weapon or ammunition, your skill increases its damage by 1 against Fey, Fiends, and Undead. Increase it by 2 instead if it has the Two-Handed property. Silvered shields grant you an additional +1 AC against Fey, Fiends, and Undead.
  • You’re familiar enough with the metal to accurately judge the weight of any amount of silver coins or ingots just by holding them.
