Sidriel, the Sailor's Friend[edit]
Sidriel, the Sailor's Friend, is a lesser deity in the Fortress Celestia setting, and patron of the The Silver Ocean. He is worshipped by sailors of many races who seek his guidance in avoiding the deadliest dangers of the Silver Sea's trecherous shores.
Dogma[edit]
Only those who harbor no ill intent shall pass safely. Aid fellow travellers in need, even if you would normally be enemies, handing those whose goals are not in the best interest of the plane to the authorities, and aiding all others to reach their destination. Accept hardship, but do not hesitate to ask for help. When called, go, accepting that you may not return.
Clergy and Temples[edit]
Temples to Sidriel are found on all layers of Fortress Celestia; most are found within the shore communities of the The Silver Ocean. Clerics of Sidriel wear plain blue robes.
Pantheon[edit]
Sidriel was created for the Fortress Celestia setting, as the "lancer" of the setting, but DM's are welcome to "borrow" this deity or any elements of this description for their own purposes.
Roleplaying Notes[edit]
Sidriel appears in many forms, typically either a humanoid or a sea creature such as a large dolphin, or an albatross Sidriel is a hard drinking, hard partying deity who laughs in the face of hardship. He loves the sea and rarely ventures far from it.
