Shuriken 5 sp 1d4 slashing 1/4 lb. Finesse, Hidden, Light, Thrown (Range 25/75)

Shuriken (specifically referring to Hira Shuriken or Shaken) are thin, flat, round pieces of metal with four or five spikes that sail through the air with ease. They also normally have a hole in the center for easy transport, storage, and other uses. These weapons are generally used as metsubushi items or distractions to get away from an enemy. Although, when combined with Poison, Shurikenjutsu, or other materials such as Monomolecular Wire, this weapon is much more useful and lethal.

The Basic Art Of Throwing Multiple Shuriken At Once

  • With Shuriken being so thin, it’s easy to grab multiple at once. You may draw up to 3 Shuriken with one hand using your Free Action and throw them all with your Action. Attack Mods and Damage Mods apply as normal with this technique.


1 Shuriken = 1d4 Slashing (Range 25/75)

2 Shuriken = 1d6 Slashing (Range 20/60)

3 Shuriken = 1d8 Slashing (Range 15/45)


Wired Shuriken Jutsu


The Art Of Throwing Multiple Shuriken Laced With Monomolecular Wire To Subdue Your Opponent

  • Shuriken, having a hole in the center, can be very useful not only as a weapon. Taking about 10 minutes of down time to prepare and properly store, you can string 10 Feet of Monomolecular Wire between 2 Shuriken. As part of the Action to use this technique, you throw these Wired Shuriken at any Humanoid within Range in attempt to subdue them. Any Humanoid with a Passive Wisdom higher than the DC automatically passes and Cuts the Wires or Dodges them all together (DMs Discretion).


2 Shuriken With 1 Line (Range 25/75)

  • 10Ft Wire Between Each 2 Shuriken 
  • 8 + Proficiency + DEX or STR Mod = DC
  • Target Must Make WIS Save
  • Enemy Is Grappled On Failed Save
  • STR Check To Break = 12 DC
  • 6 AC to Cut = 2 HP

4 Shuriken With 2 Lines (Range 20/60)

  • 10Ft Wire Between Each 2 Shuriken 
  • 8 + Proficiency + DEX or STR Mod = DC
  • Target Must Make WIS Save
  • Enemy Is Grappled On Failed Save
  • STR Check To Break = 14 DC
  • 8 AC to Cut = 4 HP

6 Shuriken With 3 Lines (Range 15/45)

  • 10Ft Wire Between Each 2 Shuriken 
  • 8 + Proficiency + DEX or STR Mod = DC
  • Target Must Make WIS Save
  • Enemy Is Restrained On Failed Save
  • STR Check To Break = 16 DC
  • 10 AC to Cut = 6 HP
