Shotgun Expert (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Shotgun Expert
Prerequisites: proficiency with firearms
You have become an expert in the use of shotguns, such as Automatic Shotguns, Double-Barreled Shotguns, and Pump-Action Shotguns. You gain the following benefits while you are wielding such a weapon:
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls with shotguns.
- The normal and maximum range of your shotgun attacks is multiplied by one-and-a-half; for example, if a shotgun normally has the range (60/180) property, you can attack with it as if it had the range (90/270) property.
- Your shotgun attacks deal +2 points of damage per die against unattended objects and structures; for example, if a shotgun normally deals 3d8 points of piercing damage, it deals 3d8+6 points of damage when you're trying to breach a door.
- Once on your turn, you can attempt to knock down a creature that you hit with a shotgun attack. When you do so, the creature must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus) or be knocked prone.
