Shotgun Expert, Variant (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Shotgun Expert Variant
Prerequisites: Prerequisites: proficiency with firearms
You have become an expert in the use of shotguns, such as Automatic Shotguns, Double-Barreled Shotguns, and Pump-Action Shotguns. You gain the following benefits while you are wielding such a weapon:
You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls with shotguns.
The normal and maximum range of your shotgun attacks is multiplied by one-and-a-half; for example, if a shotgun normally has the range (60/180) property, you can attack with it as if it had the range (90/270) property.
Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn't impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
Your shotgun attacks deal +3 points of damage per die against unattended objects and structures; for example, if a shotgun normally deals 3d8 points of piercing damage, it deals 3d8+9 points of damage when you're trying to breach a door.
In addition, if you attacked with your shotgun and you are targeted by a melee attack, you may use your reaction to make an unarmed strike against the creature that attacked you. (Your reaction does not stop the incoming attack.)
