Shoggoth Bloodline[edit]

Sorcerer Subclass


Eldritch appearance

When you pick this Sorcerous Origin at level one, Your creature type changes to aberration, you gain the trait Amphibious, and finally, you gain proficiency in intimidation. If you already were proficient in intimidation, you gain expertise in intimidation.

Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.

Pseudopods

At level one, in addition to Eldritch Appearance, your gain the ability to grow pseudopods

Pseudopod. As a bonus action, you can extrude a pseudopod that is up to 6 inches wide and 10 feet long or reabsorb it into your body. As part of the same bonus action, you can use this pseudopod to manipulate an object, open or close a door or container, or pick up or set down a Tiny object. The pseudopod contains no sensory organs and can’t attack, activate magic items, or lift more than 10 pounds. You gain another pseudopod at levels 6, 14 and 18.

Smelly Brute

At level six, you gain the ability to use Foul Breath as an action

Foul Breath. The shoggoth exhales foul breath in a 15-foot cone that is 10 feet wide. Each creature in that line must succeed on a DC Constitution saving throw equal to your spellsave DC or become poisoned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Oozing Presence

At level fourteen, you gain the traits Amorphous and Oozing Skin.

Amorphous. You can move through a space as small as 1 foot wide. It must spend 1 extra foot of movement for every foot you move through a space smaller than yourself, but you aren't subject to any other penalties for squeezing.

Oozing Skin. When you're in water, you acidify water around yourself. At the start of your turn, every creature within 5 feet of you takes 2d10 acid damage. Only creatures that are also in the water are affected.

At level eighteen, You become the most like your father you could possibly be, you gain the traits Absorb and Shapechanger.

Absorb. A creature that hits you with with a melee weapon must make a DC 10 Strength saving throw or have the weapon get sucked into you. A magic weapon can be retrieved if you die, but a nonmagical weapon is destroyed.

Shapechanger. You can use your action to polymorph into a shoggoth, or back into your true form. Your statistics, do, in fact, change in each form. Any equipment you are wearing or carrying isn't transformed. You revert to your true form if you die.
