Armor (Shield), very rare (requires attunement) The Shield of the Protecting Warrior This Mithril shield was created to help a knight protect his lord against enemy magical assassins on the battlefield. A Brooch of Shielding was embedded into the boss and the court artificers enhanced the shield with their own magic. While wielding it, you have an extra +2 bonus to AC in addition to the shield bonus AC, have resistance to force damage, and do not take damage from the magic missile and Eldritch Blast spells. This shield is made from Mithril and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2, thus this shield increase Armor Class by 4 in total. You can benefit from only one shield at a time. |
