Shell Warden (5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Shell Warden
Prerequisites: Tortle, Ability to cast a spell
You’ve learned to supplement your normally very capable physical defenses with some magical aid. You gain the following benefits:
- You learn the blade ward and virtue cantrips. Constitution is your spellcasting ability modifier for these spells.
- When you are in your Shell Defense, you can use your Action to cast blade ward and virtue (targeting yourself only).
- When you cast blade ward while on your Shell Defense, you also gain resistance to one additional damage type of your choice from the following: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning or thunder. You choose the damage type each time you cast the spell.
- You can use your reactions while in your Shell Defense to cast abjuration spells that require spell slots to cast.
