Shell Shot (5e Equipment)

Typically designed for cannons, though versions could conceivably exist for any ranged siege weapon, a shell is a large, hollow projectile typically filled with an explosive compound, typically gunpowder, with a fuse that is ignited alongside firing.

Immediately after making an attack with a ranged siege weapon loaded with a shell, every creature in a 10-foot radius of the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 11 (2d10) bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
