ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage.

It has an eel-like body, with a short head and long body, with powerful jaws. It also has a range of 6 to 10 claws just below its head that it uses to dig through the sand to find shiny things, but they aren't very useful in combat. Stalkers usually live in solitude, in both freshwater and saltwater, digging through sand and muck to find shiny trinkets that they take back to their nest. Their diet consists almost exclusively of small fish, occasionally eating small creatures that wander into the water. Shallow wave stalkers aren't too aggressive, but can sometimes pose a problem for coastal and riverside communities. Their meat tastes very good, and many people domesticate and raise stalkers as pets and livestock. Some people use the signature BackTank of Uma village to carry around a smaller stalker with them on their adventures.
