Shadows of Macaria[edit]
Macaria is a fantasy parody of 1920s-30s America. A nation undergoing a horrible economic downturn with a leader hellbent on the prohibition of magic, filled to the brim with Mafioso, Dieselpunk, Vampires, Orc Outlaws, Wrathful Angels, Eldritch Horrors, and Undead Cowboys.
From the deep forests of Tacoma, full of with pioneers seeking its rich Gold deposits and haunted by the mythical Sasquatch.
The vast western frontier, full of the remnants of the undead armies of Sakkal the old god of the endless dunes, ravaged by dust storms that destroy the crops of the impoverished masses, and haunted by orcish bandits who were initially brought in to fight Sakkal before turning into marauders once they stopped getting paid.
The city streets where crime families battle each other for control of the arcane trade, genius inventors show off revolutionary technology like cars, mechanical men, and power armor.
To the northeast, whispers of madness and old gods fill the ears of its inhabitants, and sightings of eldritch horrors keep them up at night.
Macaria as a setting is full of enough unique factions, settings, and scenarios to make a multitude of very different campaigns.
