Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the Shadows Stalker.
Spellcasting: Beginning at 1st level, a Shadow Stalker gains the ability to cast a number of arcane spells. To cast a spell, a Shadow Stalker must have an Intelligence score of at least 10 + the spell’s level, so a Shadow Stalker with an Intelligence of 10 or lower cannot cast these spells. Shadows Stalker bonus spells are based on Intelligence, and saving throws against these spells have a DC of 10 + spell level + the Shadows Stalker's Intelligence bonus. When the Shadows Stalkers gets 0 spells per day of a given spell level he gains only the bonus spells he would be entitled to based on his Intelligence score for that spell level.
Upon reaching 6th level, at every even-numbered level after that (8th and 10th), a Shadows Stalker can choose to learn a new spell in place of one he already knows. The new spell's level must be the same as that of the spell being exchanged, and it must be at least two levels lower than the highest-level Shadows Stalker spell the Shadows Stalkers can cast. A Shadows Stalker may swap only a single spell at any given level, and must choose whether or not to swap the spell at the same time that he gains new spells known for that level.
The spells of the Shadow Stalker are the same as those on the Assassin's spell list.

Terrifying Attack (Ex): Starting at 1st level, a Shadow Stalker can frighten their opponents by landing a critical hit, making a sudden strike attack, or even making a skirmish attack. You must make an Intimidate check to demoralize your opponent. If you fail, the victim will be immune to the demoralization of this Shadow Stalker for 24 hours.
Track and Kill (Ex): Every levels of this class stack with your ninja levels to calculate the damage of your sudden strike and with your scout levels to calculate the additional damage and AC of your skirmish. Additionally, you gain the effects of the Track feat, even if you do not meet the prerequisites.
Ghost Step (Ex): Starting at 2nd level, Shadows Stalker can become invisible for 1 round once per day. Using this ability is a swift action (see Swift Actions and Immediate Actions, page 137) that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. A Shadows Stalker can use this ability one additional time per day for every three class levels gained above 1st (2/day at 4th level, 3/day at 7th level, and 4/day at 10th level).
At 6th level, a Shadows Stalker can become ethereal when using ghost step instead of becoming invisible.
Terrifying Impact (Ex): When a Shadow Stalker attacks a demoralized enemy, they apply the extra damage from sudden strike.
Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 3rd level, a Shadows Stalker retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) regardless of being caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. (He still loses any Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.)
Swift Tracker (Ex): At 4th level, a Shadow Stalker can move at their normal speed while following tracks.
Improved Terrifying Attack (Ex): Starting at 5th level a Shadows Stalker gain a +4 bonus on Intimidate checks made to demoralize a target. And when the Shadow Stalker fails the Intimidate check, the opponent must make a Will saving throw (DC 10 + Shadow Stalker's class levels + Shadow Stalker's Cha modifier). If the victim fails the saving throw, they are shaken for 1 round per half-level of the Shadow Stalker.
Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex): At 6th level, an assassin can no longer be flanked, since he can react to opponents on opposite sides of him as easily as he can react to a single attacker. This defense denies rogues the ability to use flank attacks to sneak attack the assassin. The exception to this defense is that a rogue at least four levels higher than the assassin can flank him (and thus sneak attack him).
Ghost Sight (Su): Starting at 8th level, a Shadows Stalker can see ethereal and invisible creatures and objects as easily as he sees material creatures and objects.
Hide in Plain Sight (Su): At 8th level, a Shadows Stalker can use the Hide skill even while being observed. As long as he is within 10 feet of some sort of shadow, a Shadows Stalker can hide himself from view in the open without having anything to actually hide behind.
He cannot, however, hide in his own shadow.
Greater Terrifying Attack (Ex): Starting at 9th, when the Shadow Stalker succeeds on the Intimidate check, if the opponent has the same HD or fewer than the Shadow Stalker, she must make a Will saving throw (DC 10 + Shadow Stalker's class levels + Shadow Stalker's Cha modifier). If she fail, that opponent dies.
Terrifying Cleave (Su): If a 10th-level Shadows Stalker slays a foe with his frightful attack (either from the damage dealt or because of a failed save against its fear effect), he gets an immediate extra attack against another target within reach, like an opportunity attack. If the new target is flat-footed, this extra attack is also a terrifying attack. This ability otherwise functions exactly as the Cleave.
The epic Shadows Stalker gains a bonus feat (selected from the list of epic Assasin feats) every <-# of levels-> levels after <-usually the last non epic level->.
